Our Team

Derek began his career in recruiting in Minnesota in 1998, placing IT professionals with Fortune 500 companies. Following time spent in his own construction company and a move to Florida, Derek joined the Mattran Group as lead recruiter in the Building Products Division in 2006. In 2014 he became the Director of the division.

Derek’s wide-ranging, nearly all-encompassing grasp of the Glass, Glazing and Building Envelope industry inspires trust and confidence in everyone with whom he comes in contact. He approaches every search that he undertakes with laser beam focus and is straight shooting and dependable. If he says he’s going to do it, you can count on the fact that it will get done. He is a perennial Pacesetter and in 2012 was honored as the CSAM of the Year for the South Atlantic Region by the MRINetwork Organization and was a finalist for the National title.
