Architectural Sales Consultant

We are actively looking to further strengthen our US Sales Team and are on the hunt for an inspiring, motivated and enthusiastic Architectural Sales Consultant, to grow a territory in the Greater LA area. This position would directly report into the VP of Sales for North America.

With our high-quality and aesthetically pleasing tiles, we contribute to the architectural designs of today and tomorrow. In addition, Mosa is committed to upholding sustainable design and production practices based on Cradle-to-Cradle principles.

Your challenge!
In this highly visible position, your main responsibility is to develop and execute a sales plan (aligned with the group strategy), within a defined geographic market. Demand creation objectives to include; increasing awareness and driving specifications in a commercial and light commercial setting are paramount. This individual will benefit from working alongside our established distribution partner, who shares in our unique vision and growth objective. Being a remote based position, a certain amount of entrepreneurial spirit is of high interest, along with being able to effectively work in a team setting.

Tasks include:

-       New Business development
Identify new opportunities; respond to leads; secure meetings with architects, designers, contractors and builders; meet with prospects on site; build and manage a sales pipeline; meet annual sales volume targets, participate in exhibitions and events; negotiate and close new business.

-       Account Management
Maintain and develop relationships with new and existing customers, architects, designers, building owners, and installation companies; build and manage a sales pipeline within existing accounts; deal with and manage customer technical enquiries and complaints; develop and implement solutions to problems; organize factory visits with customers.

-       Cooperation with team
Work closely with the US Team and the internal departments, including Customer Care, Project Advice and Marketing; set up and maintain accurate specifications for Mosa projects; maintain an accurate record and communicate all sales activity, and deliver timely information internally.

Basic Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in the building industry, selling high value technical products with a proven track record.
  • Existing network within the A&D community.
  • Ability to open doors as well as manage and grow an existing client base.
  • Strong desire of meeting targets and objectives.
  • Agile, passionate, entrepreneurial and pro-active.
